Her son was not removed from my class but the mother was not allowed into the school playground. Instead, she would be met by a teaching assistant each morning and her son escorted to class from there. It wasn’t long before the mother decided to remove her son from our school and found somewhere else to enroll him. We did hear that she received a 6-month custodial sentence for assault a short while later.
