Gnome Love Nana Life Valentine Tee Shirts

Hello Kitty Kansas City Chiefs shirt Around a decade ago, not long after he started his own label, Massimo Alba made a great mistake. A batch of shirts and T-shirts he was working on that had already been garment-dyed one color were mistakenly exposed to another. Speaking at his showroom presentation this weekend, Alba said: “It’s very interesting to me that so many good things start out as mistakes like this.” That accident was to Alba what the Hello Kitty Kansas City Chiefs shirt Also,I will get this mold-infected petri dish was to Alexander Fleming: a stumbled-upon eureka that led to a career-defining course of the investigation. This collection featured a series of softly tailored jackets, corduroy pants, and shorts, plus light cashmere sweaters that were hand-overdyed two, and sometimes three colors. It’s a process that led to variations in tone that included acid-trip floods of purple on purple to subtle bleeding of magenta across mustard yellow. Like most of Alba’s garments, these dyed pieces appeared at first glance conventionally prosaic. The more attention you gave them, however, the more their exceptional qualities became evident. Take a pale blue jacket, for instance, which at that first glance seemed passingly related to a surgeon’s scrubs. To the hand it was light and almost textureless in its softness: The fabric was a cotton mousseline developed for Alba by Albini. Long-sleeved, in a delicately mottled finish of washed-out sky blue, it made for an ideal mid-summer shake in pink, sleeveless, it was an impactful shirting second skin. Other interesting developments this season included a cotton pant named the Myles with acutely kinking stitched gather at knee-level on both legs and another handsome pant, baggy in white poplin, with patch pockets. A blue tropical weight jacket named the Lenny, after Bernstein, was Alba’s interpretation of a bohemian creative’s ideal piece of workwear. Collarless shirts in ripstop linen and button-up short-sleeves in terry were further finely effective coups de théâtre. Alba is a self-deprecating yet dangerous designer: Try just one carefully chosen piece and that’s it, you’re spoiled for good because nobody else quite compares. The museum in Prague where this portrait is held describes the ring on her first finger as the ring given to her at her wedding. It’s not comfortable. Maybe a lot of girls think that a see-through blouse can attract the attention of boys or they think that it will make her look much smarter. Meghan has no dress sense: no knowledge of fabrics, fit, styles that flatter, proper tailoring, Her father raised her in L.A. Enough said. Her idea of dressing for an event is “dress up” like a little girl dressing up as a princess. Shiny! Tight! Celebrity “fashion” not elegant, just flashy. Buy this shirt:  Hello Kitty Kansas City Chiefs shirt Hello Kitty Buffalo Bills shirt Forget up with the Hello Kitty Buffalo Bills shirt What’s more,I will buy this sun Gisele prefers a bit of quality time with the morning’s dark moments. “Life is so fast and there are so many things going at us and we feel like: ‘I have so much to do and I have so little time,’” she says*. “This is why I wake up at 5:30 in the morning because nobody needs anything from me at 5:30 and I can take care of myself…it’s like charging my batteries.” The model notes that, when she cares for herself in the morning, she has more to give throughout the day. The lesson: when done thoughtfully, sacrificing a bit of sleep isn’t a sacrifice at all. With a honed aesthetic that centers on a bronzed glow, a touch of shimmer, and barely-there peachy notes, Gisele’s makeup routine is a refreshing counter to today’s more-is-more beauty landscape. “I’ve always felt better with less makeup. I just feel more like myself. I was kind of a tomboy when I was a kid flat shoes, messy hair I’m just like a nature girl,” she says. “With my face, because it’s angular, less is best for me.” An important aspect of Gisele’s wellness regimen is her longtime meditation practice one she has been honing since her early 20s. In recent years, the model has taken up Transcendental Meditation, a 20-minute practice which she incorporates into her early morning solo routine. “It’s a different awareness and a new level of peace. Once you learn how to do it, it’s yours forever you can always access that,” she says. “All you need is 20 minutes. Even with a schedule like mine, I can find 20 minutes.” A mane of bombshell blonde has long been one of Gisele’s calling cards. Those looking to emulate the look and who have been paying attention will be unsurprised to learn that the secret to the supermodel’s tumble of waves is achieved through minimal effort. “After I apply conditioner, I pass my fingers through my hair and let it dry naturally,” she says. “Every once in a while, I comb my hair in the shower, but I don’t comb or brush after that.” Results may vary, but a celebration of all-natural texture is always beautiful. Then driving with one hand, with the other Almanzo lifted Laura’s, and she felt something cool slip over her first finger while he reminded her, “You said it would depend on the ring. How do you like this one?” Laura held her hand up on the first light of the new moon. Now that all of my time with my friends is spent outdoors, as COVID-19 protocol demands, I’m accessing a hands-on, sporty, crafty side of myself that I never knew was there I fly kites at the Hello Kitty Alabama Crimson Tide shirt In addition,I will do this beach, I voluntarily help my roommates assemble mammoth puzzles, and I actually find myself looking forward to running. How did it take me until age 27 to suddenly become a happy camper? Suddenly, I long to use a bandanna to secure my hair before playing a spirited game of kickball with my bunkmates (rather than using one as a makeshift mask before engaging with the outside world). I want to actively participate in icebreaker games of “Two Truths and a Lie,” instead of rolling my eyes with the other malcontents. I dream of going to sleep at night surrounded by my friends, after a long night of post-curfew gossip about how Sophie G. totally made out with Evan F. behind the canteen. At its heart, after all, the sleep-away camp is unlimited, lightly structured time with your friends; maybe it’s not such a coincidence that I’m longing for it right now when even a park hangs with a small group feels somewhat risky. Maybe this is just another case of quarantine regression, one that I’ll get over as soon as the world opens back up, and I’m able to hang out indoors with my friends again. Still, now that The Parent Trap has officially entered its early twenties, I can’t help but wish I had appreciated the fleeting joys of camp a little more when I had the chance. If you’re even mildly online, you’ve likely been inundated with gossip about Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Red Table Talk, and “entanglements” lately. But what, precisely, does it all mean? Below, find a complete guide to the recent Pinkett Smith family drama’s major players. I think both the Prince and his wife look beyond lovely. They look like royalty, they’re happy being together and it shows! And Catherine wore a dangling pair of earrings and no other jewelry, which was the perfect choice. Yes, her wedding rings are on, but that’s a given. She chose to keep the neckline clean with no necklace, and that was the right choice. Just stunning. William looks dashing! Sigh. I could look at these pics all night long Buy this shirt:  Hello Kitty Alabama Crimson Tide shirt Gnome Love Nana Life Valentine Tee Shirts While workwear conveyed the Gnome Love Nana Life Valentine Tee Shirts besides I will buy this ideas of utility and comfort so paramount today, the obvious and ubiquitous sportswear inspiration was addressed obliquely, mostly in the use of high-tech fabrications of excellent quality and impeccable Italian craftsmanship. “It’s that mix of high-tech and high-craft that has become my shtick for Ferragamo,” said the designer. Actually, it’s a concept very much connected with Salvatore Ferragamo’s original philosophy; he was ahead of the game, using materials and experimenting with shapes never done before, but always rendered with the extraordinary artisanal finesse. Working alongside the company’s men’s design director Guillaume Meilland, Andrew kept the play on shapes neat and graceful, infused with a kind of restrained gloss. Volumes were sleek and just slightly oversize, to highlight a dynamic sense of ease. The same spirit was also reflected in the women’s looks, almost with a unisex approach. Georgina Grenville looked gorgeous in a softly tailored periwinkle shorts suit, but it would’ve been equally smart on the actor Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, Ralph and Joseph Fiennes’s genetically blessed nephew, who closed the show and will be the face of the new Ferragamo advertising campaign. The young Fiennes was part of a diverse cast that included the actor Josh Lucas, the stunning model Cecilia Chancellor, Sotheby’s European chairman Michael Berger-Sandhofer, and art director extraordinaire Peter Saville. From the front row, Stanley Tucci, surrounded by a plethora of glamorous young celebrities, seemed rather pleased. Ever since Anthony Vaccarello landed at Saint Laurent in 2016 in fact, even before, with his own label he has always had a preference for staging his shows so that the audience sits on only one side of the runway, giving an uninterrupted view of the unfolding spectacle. For his Summer 2020 men’s shoe, his second for the house after last June’s ’70s opium-fest in NYC, it was business as usual, if it’s possible to call staging a show on an ebonized boardwalk runway atop a Malibu beach usual. (Nope, obviously not, not even for the likes of Keanu Reeves, LaKeith Stanfield, and Miley Cyrus, who sat front row.) . That doesn’t mean that the money supply was 20 million in the anchor year. Sizes of money supply can vary widely. Now accountings of wealth do not always have to include every possible type of form of wealth. You can do accountings of all the wealth, or any portion of it, any category of it. And when one is doing calculations of a given amount of any type or category of wealth, those valuations may vary widely depending of the method used, and of course, subjectivity can always play a significant role. Buy this shirt:  Gnome Love Nana Life Valentine Tee Shirts Valentine Gnomes be my shirt The “We Are The Weather” motif, together with Franzen’s handwritten statements, like “We Are Entirely Free To Live Differently” or “Be Leaving, Believing, Be Living,” were printed, knitted, or embroidered throughout the Valentine Gnomes be my shirt it is in the first place but collection, which is 60 percent made of sustainable fabrics like organic cotton, sustainable viscose, regenerated nylon, recycled polyester, Alter-Nappa, and the newly introduced traceable alpaca. What’s great about McCartney’s clothes is that they are as much fashion-forward in concept as they’re covetable and cool in style. The resort offered plenty of smart options for our everyday busy lives, great utilitarian pieces cut with clarity and minimalism: roomy jumpsuits; imaginative textural knitwear; upcycled denim jackets and pants. Day dresses had effortless ease and inventive cuts, as did a circular cloqué number in a spectacular shade of red. As always chez Stella, Savile Row-style tailoring was a strong proposition, a standout being a sharp-tailored black tuxedo, with a touch of whimsy in the loose flowing ribbons subtly embroidered with the “We Are The Weather” beaded handwriting. Menswear complimented the women’s line both in concept and design, with an emphasis on modern sporty flair and a casual, playful take on tailoring. “I always try to keep it light and have an element of humor,” said McCartney. In addition to the “We Are The Weather” motifs, hand-painted horses (“nothing is digitalized, all drawings are made by hand”) were printed on a matching silk shirt, tie and shorts; a leopard pattern created by scaled-up photocopies of Fur-Free-Fur was printed on generously-cut lightweight dusters. On a roomy jumpsuit, an all-over Earth satellite print looked like an abstract camo motif; an Eco-Weirdo graphic patched on a T-shirt felt like an irreverent take on logomania. “It’s this idea that we are a bit of Eco-Weirdos and we’re kind of proud about it,” said the designer.  This is my response to a comment/question by Niranjan Nanavaty (who asked where inflation fits into this definition of savings). I think this material is pertinent and important enough that it should be added here. The first part of savings, the savings that is the preservation of money used for investment is a nominal measure, i.e., the face value of the money. Reducing spending does not cause any increase in the money possessed in the economy overall. For those individuals who did not spend, they have more, but for those who would have been the recipients of that spending, they have less. Buy this shirt:  Valentine Gnomes be my shirt Vaccine got my fauci ouchie shirt So it was written on the Vaccine got my fauci ouchie shirt besides I will buy this tank-tee that will surely be the most ’gram garm of this collection. And while Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo admitted that, sometimes, the pressures of trying to force their now five-year-old brand through the ranks of Milan hopefuls to become safely established makes them feel that way, they created the opposite reaction in their audience. The address, way out of town to the East, boded ill but turned out to be that of the loveliest venue so far this Milan. We were beneath a long stretch of the Tangenziale (ring-road) freeway that encircles the city. Alongside us ran the river Lambro, all dappled green and cool reflection, from which dragonflies came to explore this unlikely addition to their ecosystem. Messina and Rizzo had come to a party here a year ago and became so taken by the place that they negotiated with the authorities and local neighborhood to make it a free open-air gallery, curated by them, which opened today. Through the section of hitherto unused urban space given a refreshing lick of white paint over a 4,000 square meter area, this Sunni collection ran from white to black through a comprehensive spectrum of brand expression. Not in specific detail, more in mood, it sparked memories of pre-Francesco Risso Marni for both men and women. The height of the women’s platforms, the laundry-bag enormity of the fringe-decorated totes, and the simultaneous evolution and performative delineation through zig-zag placket topstitching on men’s workwear were all acutely thought through and finely actualized. What it feels like to wear is another matter entirely, but the knit effect nylon used for thumbless mitten-like bags, bigger drawstring sacks, men’s tank tops, and women’s looks that connected sweater and skirt with a buttoned bridge layer at the waist looked both slightly wrong and rather right simultaneously. More on why California in a minute, but what did that uninterrupted view of the clothes tell us? That Vaccarello, who barely tackled menswear prior to arriving at Saint Laurent, save for his brief stint at Versus, is a quick study. This was a strong and assured outing from him, connecting to some of that YSL legend of old, but also with his own unerring sense of what a young guy might actually want to wear today At any rate, in microeconomics, when we are talking about an individual or a firm, spending is the depletion of the firm’s or individual’s wealth. In the macroeconomy, spending is just the transfer of ownership of money and does not represent a depletion of wealth. Buy this shirt:  Vaccine got my fauci ouchie shirt The man the myth the mittens Bernie Sanders shirt Christoffer Lundman tends to choose beautiful historical Swedish properties as the The man the myth the mittens Bernie Sanders shirt and I will buy this basis for his collections at Tiger of Sweden. His M.O. is to dig so deep into the subject matter that he produces not only a collection based on it, but an accompanying book of essays and photographs and, in this case, a piece of contemporary art. For Spring, the property under Lundman’s eye was a summer estate just outside of Uppsala, purchased in 1758 by Carl Linnaeus. Linnaeus was the father of taxonomy: a man who combined a passion for botany with a mania for categorization. His observations about the sexual life of plants a fiendishly amoral 1960s Free Love–style frenzy of “anything goes” pollen-spurting stamen—scandalized strait-laced Christians way before Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection induced total existential crisis. Beyond Lundman’s fascinating book and the egg-bearing marble artwork by his friend, the artist George Henry Longly, that was on display at this new-venue Florentine presentation, the menswear on the show also acted as virile conductors of Big Linnaean Energy. Military parkas and cargo pants in fern-pattern jacquard were wearable hints at a febrile, organic attitude. Printed silk shirting and shorts illustrated with taxonomic botanical sketches based on those with which Linnaeus wallpapered his summer retreat were scientifically cool. The burgundy triple-layered nylon outfit didn’t seem especially on-theme, but it was a look worth cultivating, as was much in this meticulously tended collection. I bring this up just to mention even though I categorize money as a form of wealth*, when someone is doing an accounting of wealth, they could exclude that category, if so inclined. I do consider money as part of the total wealth, as a store of wealth, and something that enhances transactions as a medium of exchange. However, I understand that we would not exist if the only form of wealth that existed was money. So I think it is quite reasonable, if one was trying to get a measure of wealth that contributes to the standard of living and quality of life, for someone to do an accounting of all the wealth other than, that is excluding, the value of the money in the money supply. By the way, I would have preferred to just make the expression for savings be “Savings equals Net Production”. That is where we measure the change in the level of wealth, and that is where one could even include any change in the real value of the money used for commerce, during the period of commerce. Buy this shirt:  The man the myth the mittens Bernie Sanders shirt Texans when temps get close to 50 Bernie Sanders shirt It was no doubt surreal for Snyder to take over the Texans when temps get close to 50 Bernie Sanders shirt in addition I really love this space he helped create a decade ago. He covered the massive bar, walls, and ceiling with a high-gloss sage paint; added a coffered ceiling; installed more lights; and filled every nook and cranny with mid-century furniture, cases of vintage watches, and coffee-table books. Like J.Crew, his assortment is accessible, ranging from nicely priced Todd Snyder x Champion hoodies to luxe suede trucker jackets and bespoke suits. The aesthetic isn’t so different either, though Snyder’s is understandably a bit more sartorial and boundary-pushing. It’s easy to imagine guys who wore J.Crew in their 20s—and have spent enough time in New York to elevate their style a bit wanting to invest in Todd Snyder in their 30s. While he put the finishing touches on the shop, Snyder took a break from the Spring 2020 men’s shows. Instead, he photographed a lookbook inspired by ’70s-era tennis greats like Björn Borg and Guillermo Vilas. He joked that they were the original “bad boy” athletes, despite their cute little tennis shorts. Spring borrowed from their fine-knit polos, louche tracksuits, and terrycloth shorts, plus leisure suits i.e., matching camp shirts and shorts) and ’50s-era bowling shirts. Much like Borg’s style a blend of preppy tennis gear and bohemian stuff, like flared jeans and jewelry Snyder wanted it all to feel like a mix of thrift store finds, with multiple decades and influences represented. That’s how most men and women dress these days, anyway, even if they’re not conscious of it. Tailoring is a strength for Snyder the back room of the Liquor Store is dedicated to suits, and he’s starting a bespoke program later this year and for Spring, he introduced new, vaguely feminine colors and interesting textures. Buy this shirt:  Texans when temps get close to 50 Bernie Sanders shirt Strong woman Green Bay Packers unbreakable shirt Tom Ford was the Strong woman Green Bay Packers unbreakable shirt But I will love this catalyst that kick-started the direction fashion has taken this millennium. Sure, Hedi Slimane was there on backing vocals, and Martin Margiela was already delivering his now also much-imitated woo-woo riffs of genius. But it was Ford at Gucci who birthed the exemplar bass line that fashion has danced to ever since. His was the first spiffing up of a tired old house into something fabulous, glamorous, and highly profitable that so many have followed (with various levels of success) since. For good or ill it was his eye that created the context of today’s weird fashion Tinder-world in which creative directors and houses restlessly swipe this way and that in search of a moneymaking match. That preamble is to emphasize the fact that when Tom Ford speaks, you cup your hand to your ear and listen, hard. For he is a seer. Of late, the guru has mostly kept his own counsel. He has seemed focused on family, films, his saucily monikered fragrance brands, and preparing to do for the CFDA what he once did for Gucci. Thus a visit to Ford’s showroom this afternoon brought no especial presentiment of the gravity-tilting revelation ahead. At first, all seemed as usual. The thick cream shag pile carpet muffled the breathy coos of buyers as his 2020 collection was appreciatively fingered through. There were great suits, and lots of them—razor-cut black or white with monochrome exotic accents and sexy rock-star boots. There were some powerfully shouldered jacquard jackets in radioactively fuchsia leopard and zebra. There were some great fitted perforated leather jackets and matching slim-fit cargo pants in cream. It was all hot-to-trot stuff, but it was all pretty typical, until shut the front door! there were the yoga pants. That, at least, is what the swirly patterned, marble-ish and vaguely camo skintight leggings, worn with strappy flat sandals and some fine luxe-technical bombers, most resembled at first glimpse. It was hard to tell precisely, however, because in Casa Ford the lookbook images are shown on a flat-screen gallery that rotates every half second or so, like a too-fast departure-lounge board. Keynes has been grossly misrepresented repeatedly by those who imply that he was in favor of spending that would decrease overall wealth production in an economy. This is completely false. Buy this shirt:  Strong woman Green Bay Packers unbreakable shirt Strong Woman Buffalo Bills unbreakable NFL shirt Since launching their collaboration in 2018, Tommy Hilfiger and Lewis Hamilton have taken their co-created collections across the Strong Woman Buffalo Bills unbreakable NFL shirt moreover I will buy this world, starting in Shanghai with pit stops in Milan and Berlin. For the fourth installment of TommyXLewis, the duo decided it was time to bring it home, so to speak, back to London where Hamilton is from. A few days before the event, the stakes were raised once again with a surprise announcement: the new collection would include a three-way partnership with Gabriella Wilson, the Grammy-winning R&B singer known as H.E.R. With Naomi Campbell leading the charge, the show at the Tate Modern tonight started on a resounding high note. Even in her downtime, the supermodel isn’t known to wear anything vaguely athletic, though she appeared surprisingly at ease in the brand’s new highlighter yellow and gray tracksuit, working her trademark strut in chunky high-top sneakers. Campbell wasn’t the only famous face in the lineup. There were a number of impressive cross-generational cameos: ’90s favorites Jodie Kidd, Yasmin Le Bon, and Erin O’Connor all walked the runway, as did newcomers such as Halima Aden and Lottie Moss, sister of Kate. In a week that has been sorely lacking in shape and age diversity, the casting was a refreshing change. Since switching gears to fashion, Hamilton has developed a number of personal signatures: Formula One driver has the word “loyalty” tattooed on his forearm and it appeared in bold letters on hoodies and splatter print tees. He doesn’t shy away from the idea of logos, in fact some were specifically designed to glow under the black lights of the club. Fans of Wilson would be able to spot her imprint on the collection from a mile away, too. Lyrics from her hit single “Hard Place” were written across a fluorescent jumpsuit: “My heart or you, I’m gonna lose.” One of the standout pieces in the lineup, it was a true reflection of Wilson’s onstage look. Like Eilish, H.E.R. is among a generation of young musicians who are rewriting the hyper-feminine rules of performance style with a cooler, looser sense of swagger. I believe that this concept becomes most clear when we realize that income and net production of wealth are indeed independent variables. It is using that model that we can understand how “spending” does not get subtracted off of wealth, because the two things are not accounted for on the same axis. And further, rather than being subtracted off wealth, at less than full employment, spending normally, on the average does lead to production of more wealth, not less wealth. Buy this shirt:  Strong Woman Buffalo Bills unbreakable NFL shirt Strong Kansas City Chiefs unbreakable strong woman NFL shirt Decoration as dissembling is a puritan notion, yet there is also a power in restraint, and apart from a few sparse brand graphics and a building print tee, this was indeed a collection uncluttered by surface chatter. This left you free to consider the Strong Kansas City Chiefs unbreakable strong woman NFL shirt and by the same token and handsome aspect of Taverniti’s roomy raw-denim work jackets and jeans, and cotton drill pants cut extra-high at the waist. He went high, but he also went low, with what looked like treated silky nylon patched square-cut drop-crotch pants in white. Double-lapel-detail deconstructed suits in washed denim or a silky black viscose were pretty cool too. Taverniti is trying to extend himself beyond the streetwear milieu with which he is associated by divesting his clothes of any contemporary decorative clutter: The silhouettes left standing looked good. What lurks in the dark? What sinister instincts lie dormant, waiting to arise? Where does the capacity for masculine moral villainy begin? If you are a man, you know. I loved this on-the-face-of-it dull Undercover offering because it asked questions of the masculine state we now jazz-hand away with fake rhetoric. It was a collection that interrogated a man’s private knowledge of his worst but most vital instincts his knowledge of himself expressed while dressed as a devil, beautifully. More significant than the Nosferatu silhouettes at the front, or the plentiful Cindy Sherman reproductions at the back, where the spider’s web pleating in the middle of this collection. Trapped by our own urges, it reflected the Dylan Thomas quote on the invitation: “I hold a beast, an angel, and a madman in me.” To his credit, designer Jun Takahashi said post-show that these violent urges were something he recognized in himself. His rejection of the easy tropes of streetwear for the polished affectation of sartorialism spoke volumes. The clothes were just souvenirs, really, but important ones. Relics of age of masculine devilment that should no longer hold terror or sway. Move on, move up. He also realized that “not spending” would keep from occurring, all of that economic activity that would otherwise result from spending. “Not spending” would prevent from being promoted all of that economic activity that would be creating new wealth and preserving already existing wealth. Keynes realized that not only would “not spending” prevent the production of new wealth, but would also lead to the decay and loss of much our economic infrastructure, further reducing overall wealth. The design team wasn’t inattentive to trends, but it certainly didn’t follow them obsequiously. Tried-and-true essentials were the order of the day. So it was no small development to hear Wainwright say at a visit to the brand’s showroom that there’s “a call for more ‘pushed’ fashion on the men’s side.” As ever at R&B, the foundations are British tailoring, American workwear, a strong Japanese aesthetic most notable via fabrications, and a sports element. But as promised, those foundations were heightened this time around. See the pinstriping on a well-cut coat and the eye-catching color-blocking on strict military shirts, cargo pants, and tennis sweaters. The bomber with “44” embroidered on the arm that President Obama wore to a college basketball game back in February, nearly breaking the Internet in the process, was cut with a new floral-print lining made from Japanese indigo (and sans the 44 detail). Wainwright and co. made excellent use of fabrics sourced from Japan. Pull-on pants in faded indigo cotton managed to look both fashionable and essential at the same time. He should add them to the Rag & Bone women’s collection, for sure. Rage and alienation: is this Raf Simons’s comfort zone, the place which connects him back, as a 51-year-old man, to the teenage experience his work continually fetishizes? Well, Simons doesn’t have to play nice to any bosses anymore. After his exit from Calvin Klein, he reports only to himself. And what the free Raf Simons wants to say is exactly how much he accuses and despises corporate America. Quite apart from the slogans, it was there rather clearly, breaking through on the soundtrack, a voice which intoned, “Big lie…media America, corporate America…fascist America.” Sometimes, watching a Simons show can feel like sitting an exam or trying to crack a cryptic crossword. I have shown a model where we define spending as the transfer of ownership of money for a purpose, and make the idea of what we consider to be a purpose for spending general enough to allow us to include all transfers of ownership of money as qualifying to be considered spending. Using this definition, I show a way to derive the savings equals investment identity. Using that model I am able to show that, not only is the savings equals investment identity a true identity, where saving is always equal to investment, but I also show the reason it is true is because the money saved is the same money as that initially used for investment spending. Titled Tecuatl after his maternal grandmother’s maiden name Owens’s mother hails from Puebla and is of Mixtec heritage this collection was the Love bites shark Valentine shirt What’s more,I will buy this first time he has used his work as a lens through which to explore his south-of-the-border roots. As he said at the top, however, Owens’s relationship with those roots is abstract and that abstraction was reflected in the collection. One prosaic reason for this is he only revisited his mother’s homeland this year, for the first time in 30. Another is that just as in the last-season cycle of awesome Larry LeGaspi shows his themes are, ultimately, just one of the raw materials in a creative clay that is every season shaped by his design and in his own image. Zippered jumpsuits, some half-worn to optimize ab exposure, looked toughly utilitarian, while short-hemmed tailored jackets in white snakeskin over low-neck loose T-shirts and white sequined zippered pants appeared twistedly slick especially when teamed with a pompadour. According to Josef Albers, “in art, tradition is to create, not to revive,” and in this highly artful collection, we saw an outstanding expression of the tradition in clothing created by Owens. Purple Label is Ralph Lauren’s jewel in the crown, a cultivated exercise in fine tailoring, where a quintessential sense of ease is infused with sophisticated polish. A palette of soft tonal colors, a slightly vintage insouciance, a fluidity of fit and balance of proportions come to mind when thinking of Purple Label’s signature aesthetic. Yet at today’s presentation at the label’s sumptuous Milanese headquarters, what stood out was a gorgeous, visually compelling lineup of brightly colored evening suits in shades of saturated yellow, fuchsia, and orange. Slim fitting and sharply cut in silk shantung, they looked exceptional, pointing towards an updated approach, with a zest of chic playfulness: “They’re tailored with a lighter construction, but still maintaining sartorial proportions,” said John Wrazej, executive vice president and creative director of men’s design. “They’re all handmade; it’s our uncompromising way of tailoring. They’re probably among the best suits you can find.” However, speculation is its own creature that continues far longer than is logical or rational. Speculation can drive prices to the stratosphere and often does. Energy stocks during the last Recession were highly speculated. Anything connected with shale or sand oil was way above the fundamentals at times that. Buy this shirt:  Love bites shark Valentine shirt Jesus is my spotter shirt Silhouettes were full, and the Jesus is my spotter shirt What’s more,I will buy this assembly of pieces used to achieve them—what the designer called a “potpourri”—was eclectically and raffishly combined. “What I really wanted to express was the free soul of the artist, and how he creates his own elegance,” said Curradi backstage. “There were elements mixed from the ’90s, the ’80s, and the ’40s.” The result was a collection that did all the hard work in conjuring an aura of insouciant panache so its wearers won’t have to. Salut! Robert Geller is about to embark on a yearlong sabbatical to Portugal with his family, taking a pause from the New York fashion world for a bit. The connection between Geller’s stepping back from the circus of fashion and his circus-themed Spring 2020 collection isn’t that direct he says he started to think of the circus and Sarah Moon’s hazy photographs on a flight last year but it’s hard not to draw a comparison. Even without the pomp and circumstance of a show, Geller is making some of American fashion’s most show-stopping menswear. As always, his base is his materials and dyes. In the former category, he has incorporated spandex into more of his fabrications, inspired by his ongoing collaboration with Lululemon. Geller’s comfortable, athletic garments have only become more agile. Even more invigorating is his new palette. Rather than labor over an exact shade of sandstone or clay, as he often does, Geller’s ditched his earth tones this season in favor of something more fabulous. The slime green stripes that cut through a nylon coat or the metallic azures that make up a shimmering suit are far more electric than what we’ve come to expect from the earthy designer. But if it’s not evident yet, Geller is ready for a change. The experimentation doesn’t stop there. For the first time in Geller’s career, he is using sequins on tanks, trousers, and shorts. “I wanted to get myself out of my comfort zone,” he explains. It’s a funny way of putting it; the backs of the sequin garments are actually made of nylon ripstop, so they are comfortable to sit in. Even with a fantastical mood haunting this season, amplified by wigs by Chrystoph Marten, Geller can’t help but be pragmatic. Yes it is a bubble, although most people want to believe it is not. If you study the fundamentals like the Income Statements quarterly for the past 12 quarters you will find that fundamentals are lagging for many of this high-flying companies. If a company has negative earnings, as some tech companies that are being speculated do have negative or declining earnings or revenues or both, then this is considered a bubble. Timing is an art, and of late, many of the designer’s rereleases are dictated by which of her vintage pieces are trending on Instagram; hence the reappearance of the Puli jumpsuit (Look 59) for Spring. Last Fall, Kamali revisited her “Modern Sculpture” dress—a tube separated from its connected sleeves by giant round cutouts sort of like a Henry Moore sculpture. Beyoncé and her team saw it and ordered customized versions for the “Spirit” video shot for The Lion King. It’s back for Spring as a dress, top, and jumpsuit, and in new fabrications. Speaking of art, Kamali has updated her parachute coat with metallic silver nylon that is almost as shiny as one of Jeff Koons’s reflective pieces. We talk a lot in the office about adapting swimwear for city life. Kamali, who is noted for her skills in this area, makes it easy with bra tops and other convertible pieces (another signature). For the daring, there are nude-illusion options; more covered but also chic are her “diaper” bottoms, first popularized by Claire McCardell in the 1940s. Kamali is still going strong with gender-fluid design “I think it’s becoming more and more real every season,” she noted and she photographed her Spring 2020 collection in two sessions, one on women, the other on men, some of whom are employees. The latter were invited to bring their own accessories and to choose and style any pieces they like. They selected their own poses as well. “They all chose this [wrap] dress,” Kamali noted, “and it’s very funny because it’s a dress I did in the ’70s, and it was the first dress that guys ever bought from me.” Good design, apparently, has no expiration date. “Clothes,” states Kamali, “have to function, but they also have to make you happy.” The empire didn’t exist when the English army started to wear red. The British army could be called the British army, and not the English army by the end of the 17th century. However red comes about due to the English civil war and the parliament’s “New Model Army” which was formed in 1645. It is not only that corduroy is a fabric whose utterly non-Bond signifying span runs from elderly rural conservative to left-leaning intellectual louche (in fact corduroy’s previous best celluloid champion was Donald Sutherland’s weed-smoking literature professor in Animal House). It’s also that James Bond is an (albeit entertaining) one dimensional, an anachronistic masculine cipher—a toxic superhero—and that Massimo Alba is a man and designer who operates in multiple dimensions, all of them positive. Just take a look at the outfits here. For me, the slipper is the only misstep: although very Alba, it was too insubstantial a base for the experiments with the volume he played with this season. In the studio this morning I went through pretty much every piece of outerwear (with a bunch of other Alba freaks) trying them on and crooning. If James Bond were dressed in that green brushed cashmere oversized overcoat when he encountered a barely-dressed superhot megalomaniac’s daughter in her dad’s lair, he wouldn’t seduce her then kick her to the curb; he’d enquire about her feelings and join her book group. In Alba’s studio, there were two hand-dyed yak/cashmere/wool sweaters purposefully given license to the pill: their roughness and singular to each piece bruises of color were like watching an emotional sunset. Dressed in one of these, Bond would question the value of working as an assassin for the remnants of the rapacious British Empire with a clarity that might lead him to charity work rather than another bloody film. Especially excellent cameos in this collection included the new articulated pant shape in light and gently flexible cotton, and the oversized check wool coat, and the hooded cashmere check coat and… close to everything, really. Shoes should be elegant, flattering, and wearable. Meghan tottering on sky-high stilettos looks ridiculous. If she were really concerned about “empowering women” she would wear shoes with lower heels. Back in the day, heels were 2″ and “spike heels” were 3″. Spike heels considered a bit slutty. Lately, those 6″ heels hurt my feminist soul. WTF Chinese footbinding redux? Royal style is just a classic style. Classic style is dress length just below the knee, or just above. Buy this shirt:  Hello Kitty Saints shirt Gnome Love Nana Life Valentine Tee Shirts Hello Kitty Kansas City Chiefs shirt Around a decade ago, not long after he started his own label, Massimo Alba made a great mistake. His M.O. is to dig so deep into the subject matter that he produces not only a collection based on it, but an accompanying book of essays and photographs and, in this case, a piece of contemporary art. His M.O. is to dig so deep into the subject matter that he produces not only a collection based on it, but an accompanying book of essays and photographs and, in this case, a piece of contemporary art. Buy this shirt:  I bern for you Bernie Sanders shirt Hello Kitty Saints shirt As Kerry Olsen wittily riffed in the Hello Kitty Saints shirt Additionally,I will love this New York Times last Friday, the decision of Daniel Craig (and it was indeed he, a real-life customer) to wear a corduroy suit by Massimo Alba for a crucial extended action scene in the soon-to-be-released James Bond flick raises some pretty darned profound existential questions about the deadly British ladykiller spy. Meghan has no dress sense: no knowledge of fabrics, fit, styles that flatter, proper tailoring, Her father raised her in L.A. Enough said. Buy this shirt:  Strong Kansas City Chiefs unbreakable strong woman NFL shirt Men’s inaugiration day mittens meme Bernie Sanders shirt For years, Marcus Wainwright talked up Rag & Bone’s connection to the Men’s inaugiration day mittens meme Bernie Sanders shirt moreover I will buy this street, emphasizing the off-duty IRL-ness of the clothes. Buy this shirt:  Men’s inaugiration day mittens meme Bernie Sanders shirt Love bites shark Valentine shirt “My Mexican-ness is very abstract,” said Rick Owens shortly before presenting this show. Buy this shirt:  Jesus is my spotter shirt I bern for you Bernie Sanders shirt We’re desperately in need of a scale against which to measure brands’ sustainability; in the I bern for you Bernie Sanders shirt besides I will buy this meantime, there’s always the test of time. “I think the comment I hear most,” said Norma Kamali, “is, ‘Oh, I still have your…[whatever].’ It really does make me feel great to think [that something I designed a long time ago] is still in their wardrobe.” Kamali’s catalog is so large and so adaptable, if she didn’t get bored easily, she could just rest on her laurels.
